I know this question has been asked multiple times, but I'm getting mixed answers.
I'm thinking about getting a dv6500t and I can either get the 8400M upgrade OR the webcam/fingerprint reader OR a better battery.
People say to just go for the better GPU because you can't upgrade it later on, but if I really don't plan on playing any graphic-intensive games at all, will the difference between the x3100 and the 8400M merit the $80 price difference? Is the overall experience really that much better (in terms of DVD playing and the Vista Aero interface)?
Thanks for any responses

If your not going to use it, don't buy it.

If you're absolutely positive you'll never use it, spend the money elsewhere - the larger battery would be my choice. On the other hand, you'd better be completely sure, because you can't upgrade it later, as you could the battery. If you come back in two months and say, "This Crysis seems really cool, can I play it on my GMA x3100?", I'll smack you.

Haha, OK. I'm almost absolutely sure I'm never going to play any game more taxing than Minesweeper, so I guess I'll upgrade elsewhere.
Thanks a lot for the help.
8400M worth it for nongaming laptop?
