    Is the video memory for these cards linked to the system RAM like some other cards? Apparently this card is only 128MB of VRAM, which basically makes it worse than the 256MB Go 7400 in the M1210 I just sent back.

    Forgot to mention that, for some reason, it only shows up as 117MB of VRAM, making a lot of games that require 128 not run.

    I like it quite a bit, except I did not realize the video ram was only 128MB. If it were 256MB, it would be perfect. Hopefully stuff will still run ... I'm about to find out.

    Also, for some games you can do a config file edit that tells the game that you have 128 VRAM. Not sure exactly how to do it, but a google search might help you.

    A little bit; the exhaust vent is on the same side where you'd put a mouse. It's not scalding my skin or anything, but it can get annoying.
