Hey guys, on the stock driver my 8400M GS seems to do ok, but I feel like there is more in the tank. Have you guys found the updating the drivers has improved gaming performance? If so I was wondering what the latest version of drivers are stable but good performance, and where I can get them? I tried Laptopvideo2go, but it seems like its down. I could DL the updated ones from HP but im pretty sure they will be way outdated, Im new to this so any suggestions(I did a forum search, but nothing quie answered my questions)? I appreciate all the help I can get on this.

Have you read this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=193377

What drivers to get depends on what game you are playing now. Laptopvideo2go is indeed down but tweakforce and guru3d also provide driver downloads for notebooks. As a stopgap you can download the HP drivers if they are newer than your current ones.

The link I gave you is probably best for posting similar questions in future.

Hey Har, I think the link you posted was to this thread, can you try it again? I really appreciate your help on this, if someone could jus post a link to a direct DL of the latest stable driver that would make it super easy. I am having a hard time sifting through everything on those sites, and I don't know what to DL because ive never updated a laptop driver before. thanks so much!
