    Hi guys,
    so, i just want to make sure, that i dont got the faulty 8400m gpu, on idle, my temp is usually 56-59c, and when i play cs:s, or tf2, the max i saw was 76c. so are these temps not too high?

    yeah does temps look to fine my brothers comuter runs at 85c when playing Dawn of war dark crusade for an 45min......u can consider yourself the lucky few................

    Yeah, its normal tempatures!

    ... As long you don't see a performance change when it gets more hot (Many GPU's downclocks itself at a specific temperature)

    my overcloked touch 98C sometimes, Im still looking a better way of cooling or down to normal clock again.

    overclocking this gpu is not something u wanna be doing these gpu's are very well known to overheat or to fail even while not being overclocked just playing games for a long period of time can damage the gpu....so be careful overclocking can damage your comp.

    yeah I check it and put back in normal settings and playing again touch 98 99c. thats weird the same temps without overclock. Normal remains at 66c in 168 core clock. and all of this is with cooling pad. The computer fan start in 96C I can put it to start in 76c???

    Ok, I use the new rule and put the fan in 100% at 72C. I wonder if this is normal or not because my computer have 8 months with me and this temps are normal ( I was playing a lot) and nothing bad occur. I see that when the temp goes to 100C the clock speed down so the GPU (with computer DIY cooling pad) down it temp to 88C in only 3 seconds.
