Hello all, this is my first ever post here on NotebookReview.com.
I just bought a brand new HP DV9500T laptop and am having a really hard time getting the forceware drivers to work. Forceware 163.69 and etc. It said that i do not have a working version of Vista running, another one said that it is not compatible with my hardware. Yet here i am looking at a perfect copy of 32B Vista and a video card that is in the list of supported cards.![]()
Here are my specs....![]()
Core2 Duo processor T7700, 2.40 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
4GB DDR2 6400 800mhz
240GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2)
...and all of the other bells and whistles
I have heard that other people with the same laptop are using these drivers, and that they make a huge difference in performance then the drivers that hp provides.
Please help me! Thank you all

Please read the sticky before posting a new thread. Your card is NOT in the list of supported cards, as you have a mobile card and you're trying to install desktop forceware releases.

Well what drivers can i use to update my mobile 8600gs?

Again, read the stickies. All the common questions are answered there.

As mentioned aboved please use the guide in the sticky
