Hey, on my laptop, sometimes when you first start Vista, the screen will go blank or snow out (screen completely flips out) and i get a message in the tray saying the device has failed and successfully recovered. What can i do to fix this problem?

It seems to only do it when you load up windows and sometimes counter strike

You're sure it is the video card? I would start with updating your drivers:

It says the drivers are all up to date according to the driver scanner that the laptop driver place recommends. I used the disks that came with my C90.

i finally got counter strike installed and running at 35 fps in battery saving mode, but its choppy and fragmented as hell.

Even though it says the drivers are up-to-date, I would recommend following the guide and installing new drivers. That may fix your problem.
