How does the M Compare To The Desktop (Thinking of a M1530 and want to know a desktop card to find benches for it is easier (Mad now with no 7811FX (9600GT Speed in a laptop for cheap))

So The M1530 Seems to Have The same specs as a desktop card just lower right?

    M1530 - 8600GT - 8600GTS
    475 540 675
    702 700 1000
    950 1190 1450

So basically about a 8600GT (Could it be overclocked to 8600GT Levels or Even close to 8600GTS? (Just hoping for desktop levels) ;)
Or am i getting something wrong. Also when will it have a say 9600M GT in it?
Is the Studio XPS Real? and if so when?

I believe that the DDR2 version of the 8600m GT is right around a desktop 8500GT.

Also of note is that the 9600 isn't much of an improvement over the 8600...

Are they not replacing that with an improved version?

I noticed a couple of days ago (last Sunday, in fact) that the specs page for the P Series FX laptops was not available.

I assume this is because they're releasing newer s. Well, I hope!

Although when I click on the 'buy now' link I see three FX laptops but none in the 7811 slot. :(

I really hope they are just upgrading!

If They are i would be super happy. That would be all i would want or need honestly and in about 8 Months i would build a super Fast Desktop When Stuff gets down.

    (Nehelem + 380 GX2 + 12 GB DDr2 ? :p )
Now if i were building i'd Go Q9550 + 4870 x2 + 8GB DDR2 But know a huge jump is coming and would rather just get a laptop and wait for it. (I want both anyway but dont know what order.

By 4870 I assume you mean ATI Radeon 4870?

And I would throw in two 1TB HDDs. :p

Only because I've never had a terrabyte of space, and it would be cool to say I have TWO terrabytes! :D
