    Make sure your system isn't overheating, update drivers, etc...

    erm all drivers updated and i have it lifted off in each corner a little to let more air under the lappy to help with cooling.

    try to completely remove the old driver before updating to a new one. Use driversweeper I thik in safe mode. I did not have much time to test, but I think it solved my problem

    i have been offered a very cheap cool pad but the fans don't match up with the vent on the underside of the lappy is it still worth it and how much will it lower the temp by. thx for any help.

    i was having this problem with mine and so far i seem to have sorted it i just disabled powermizer in the registry.
