Well I reinstalled windows, installed 169.04 driver and it ran fine until about 24 hours ago when even in a simple game such as GTA SA ( screenshot) at high settings.

could anyone post any theories? Driver? Card shot? Game?
Thanks

Did you use Driver Cleaner to clean out your previous drivers?
What exactly is wrong with the screenshot? Not sure what GTA SA should look like. Is it a texture issue? -
No i did not use driver cleaner but the 169.04 driver has been working stable for roughly a week.
this is what gta sa should look like

it may be textures or lighting?
THANK YOU for the response -
Looks like a driver issue to me. I would do a clean removal with drivercleaner:
(1) Install Driver Cleaner Pro (worth the $10)
(2) Use its internal auto-update to bring it up to date - may have to do this a few times - but don't use Driver Cleaner yet to clean drivers
(3) Use Control Panel Add/Remove programs
(4) Reboot into Safe Mode
(5) Run Driver Cleaner Pro and select nvidia drivers and control panel to remove
(6) Reboot back into Windows normally and ignore/cancel any attempts for windows to find or install its own video drivers
(7) Install new drivers with updated inf file (assuming you got it from laptopvideo2go.com?)
I would also visit microsoft.com/directx and run the install program in case any of those files are acting up. -
hmm odd i was able to get Day of defeat to run properly just now... it may be game installation.. nfs prostreet has a similar issue as gta sa

SOLUTION: I had already tried re installing div xx 9 a few times but no dice .. tried it after default reset of the driver and re installed div x 9... runs nice again Thanks for the input..
