which gives the biggest performance (FPS) gain? Updating to the latest drivers or overclocking the card to give a bigger clock speed?

i really want to know what i should do once my vostro arrives.

yes both are good, but with the latest drivers it is not possible to overclock, so its either one or the other. i need to make a decision of which will give me the most gains.

LOL , by your sig you still havn't got the notebook .

By the time you'll get it those drivers will be "hacked" to allow overclocking , check laptopvideo2go or you can edit the registry yourself , search google .

The new 163.44 drivers have given me a significant increase in power over previous drivers. Go for newer drivers over overclocking in all cases. With old overlockable drivers you wouldn't be able to overclock then enough to match the fps increase of the newer drivers anyway.

    Go for the drivers.
