Hi guys, i was running pretty stable on 590/490 before on my vostro 1500. But since I reinstalled XP, I either crash in games or the whole screen gets artifacted soon, once i even had a BSOD saying my nvdisp screwed up  and I only oc it to 550/450,I've tried the newest drivers and the driver that I use before (174.74) and still no hope.. I currently only have TF2 and COD4 installed and bot of them crashes crazy with overclock. My max temp is around 66-67C while gaming, not very high i think considering that its summer already.

you are overclocking too much. sorry, but its true. not every card can handle a massive OC.

maybe the temp reading isn't right... but either way the ambient temperature now is a lot higher than it was before, that plays a big part in your ability to OC.

Both ntune and rivatuner gives the same reading and atitool is awalys a few degrees lower, so i use ntune's reading. Actually i run oc'ed stable at 70C before, well no artifacts or anything and the ambient temperature is just a little cooler since we use heat here.

To ensure no artifacts are being generated you have to use a program which can detect them, one of them is AtiTool. That you don't see any artifact does not mean that there is not any. Also, have you tried to lower your overclocking and test for stability?
