Alright so I have 2 8600m gt gpus. I started off with driver 179.48. I play alot of wow and have been keeping a close eye im my cards, what was happening is that the video cards would sit around 69-74 c and i would get about 30fps average about 12 in raids and 60 in org. I felt like i wasnt getting that much "torque" out of the cards like it would take a few seconds for them to really get going and the second there was something very graphic my frames would drop even lower. so I tried rivatuner and ocd the cards but didnt notice a difference. I recently updated my drivers to 186.03. right off the bat I was getting 60fps constant. full 25 man raids I was getting at least 45fps but my cards were running pretty hot. around 82-84c. but I was alright with that they were not going any higher and everything was running great.

    UNTIL

    I restarted my computer.

now my cards are sitting around 65-68c and I cant get over 20 fps.
    Ive tried everything
    reinstalling drivers
    disk cleanup/defrag
    registry clean
    virus scanning

I dont know what to do. very close to wiping my drives and starting over fresh. any help tho would be awesome
