    8700M Internal clock

    As one can see in this topic, I got a different clock speed in 3DMark06 when using different driver versions. I'm quiet curious as to why that is, since I never overclocked the card!
    I've attached a ZIP with a XLS. If someone out there could explain why there's this difference?

    I took a look at that, and I doubt it means anything. 3dmark06 detected different clocks with the old driver at different resolutions, and then detected the same lower clock with the new driver at both resolutions. Most likely 3dmark06 just can't accurately measure your clock speed, for whatever reason.

    That IS indeed a possibility :)
    I never looked at the clock, untill I compared these drivers, so I didn't try a different tool to see if it was correct :)
