hi, im just looking for some feedback on my card. i have a toshiba satellite with a 8700m GT and i was wondering how capable my card is for OC'ing? i would love to get some extra fps off this card but i never OC'd before. im thinking i cna do it since my temperature on this laptop is always really good (between 40-55 C) .. anyone else OC this card before? will i get a performance boost? is it worth it? and finally, HOW/WHAT do i increase?

    thank you for any feedback

The core should pretty much be near is limit (max power output of the mobile-pci-e port). The memory should hit 900 (GDDR3 1800) as is maximum

Correct me if I`m wrong, but wasn`t the 8700GT in the x20X underclocked? therefore you should be able to OC at least 50+ MHz on core/shaders.

Check the Toshiba forum, there are quite a few threads going there on the X205. Also take a look at our Sager forum, because Sager sells some laptops with an 8700M-GT.
