    hi,

    does anyone know how can i adjust the amount of system memory used ?

    i did not find this in nvidia's control panel .

    It's automatic, the card will borrow what it needs and return it after use. The card tends to use more video memory if you're playing games at higher resolutions.

    It's a new DX10 mandatory function (that nvidia and ATI applied to DX9 cards on vista too). The video card will use system memory if overloaded, but will always use free memory.

    My nvidia geforce 7950GTX is stated to have 1.2 GB of memory , reported directly from windows, although my RAM seems to be 2.0 all the time. I really don`t get the way this thing works,nor did I see any performance improvements. i`ll try somewhere in the future XP to see how that goes..
