    8800 GTS 512 (aka "new 8800 GTS") tested

    Results:
    seems to be about 5-10% faster on average (as expected) with some corner cases performing better (like COH), and some seeing almost no gains (low resolutions). Basically this card is bandwidth-limited. IOW: it needs a wider memory interface or faster RAM.

    Bottom-line:
    If you already have an 8800 GT or HD 3870 it's not worth the upgrade. The extra $50-$100 over the 8800 GT gives this card a lower price to performance ratio than either of the aforementioned cards, but it still looks to be a fantastic card.
