    How likely is it???

If not, what is the reason they cant fit it into a 15 incher. Is it becuase of the heat it generates???

Well let me say this, there could be a chance of putting a 8700GT in a 15.4 inch, not too sure about the 8800. The only explanation is that the 8700Gt is a over clocked version of the 8600GT and we all know that the 8600GT are in 15.4 inch laptops.(8600GT is even in 14'' laptops.) But you may have to have more space for the 8700GT for cooling.

I'm pretty sure I heard rumours about a 8800m graphics card fitting into the Asus C90S. But like I said, a RUMOUR......

Pretty low for the 8800, due to the size of it. If I recall, it's over a foot long and requires quite a bit of cooling.
