I'm interested in the PCMW Edge notebook. There are two video cards currently available when customizing:

    1. nVIDIA Geforce 8800M GTX 512MB DDR3 EXTREME GPU
    2. ATi Mobile Viper Radeon 3870HD 512MB DDR3 XTREME GPU

Which one is better in overall performance?
Which GPU has better heat management? (this is a 15.4" notebook!)

    Thanks for your help. ;)

That is very impressive cards for a 15.4 inch notebook =), the HD3870 has never features like direct X 10.1 vs 10 and shader model 4.1 vs 4 . Is the 8800mGTX a MXM Factor III? because i have heard these get quite hot =) . They are roughly in the same range but until there are solid benchmarks (not from notebookcheck) then that should help you =)

Nice hope to see some real game benchmarks of the 3870HD soon :)

So both GPUs get equally hot?
In terms of benchmarks, they should be out by mid-August.
