Has anyone found a program to overclock the shaders and core seperately yet? I'm still using nTune which only allows core/memory adjustment.

Yes with System Tools that is actually Ntune 6.02 you can overclock the shaders separately.

I flash the BIOS with the clocks I want. Much better.

But nTune doesn't even let us overclock our core/memory, right?

I have tried it, and it works great with 8600's or the desktop 8800's, but the mobile 8800/9800's do not read correctly in it. :(

It does, but you can only adjust the gpu clocks tab. If you click any other performance tab, you will get a bsod.

Last time I tried this, it crashed my rig, but I'm gonna try again.

in order to OC you'll need ancient-old drivers like 167 series. BIOS overclocking let you clock at higher rate and is more stable.

Seems to be working fine with 177.92 and ntune 6.02. I don't like flashing cards, because I killed my last notebook that way when the flash went bad.

Well flashing is actually just a hassle when you can software overclock. Less risk too. I mean who wants to reflash every time you want to change the gpu overclock?
