-
Kev, time to get a new CPU
-
Kev is evil kittenman...ima give you all nicknames depending on your icons.
yeah Kev the new CPU will help ya out alot...And make it more Crysis-able...god i hate crysis now. The game really becomes crappy once you are able to run it...play FFXI -
Wow when I had my Toshiba Qosmio F55 with the Nvidia 9700M GTS my 3DMark2006 scores were very similar to your mabe even a little higher, but the SM2.0 and SM3.0 were almost spot on. My opinion is that the 9700M GTS even with less shaders of 48 versus 64 for the 8800M GTS, since it was clocked slightly higher was about equal to it.

Yep. I'm planning on getting a T9500.
I have to overclock it a bit and use a stripped down XP system. But I get solid frames with no noticeable lag. -

So guys, what CPU should I get. I was thinking about the T9500. Any other suggestions? My limit is $250, used ones are fine.

Do the 6860s take the X7800? There's one one eBay for $165.00 Buy It Now, and it comes with a 30-day warranty.
-
ah not sure. Can anyone confirm that this CPU will work for the P-6860 FX? X7800
-
Yes it will work and you should be able to overclock it to 3.0GHz. Hope this helps. God Bless -
