Only 100 Marks more? This is weird. Could it be my drivers?

Wow when I had my Toshiba Qosmio F55 with the Nvidia 9700M GTS my 3DMark2006 scores were very similar to your mabe even a little higher, but the SM2.0 and SM3.0 were almost spot on. My opinion is that the 9700M GTS even with less shaders of 48 versus 64 for the 8800M GTS, since it was clocked slightly higher was about equal to it.

    Yep. I'm planning on getting a T9500.

Well, I'm able to play Crysis Warhead at all settings at "Gamer" at 1280x800.
I have to overclock it a bit and use a stripped down XP system. But I get solid frames with no noticeable lag.

You need to update to the new Windows 7 mobile driver 181.71; you'll gain much performance over the 179 WDDM crap. I'll mod it for you if you want it.

Do the 6860s take the X7800? There's one one eBay for $165.00 Buy It Now, and it comes with a 30-day warranty.

Yes it will work and you should be able to overclock it to 3.0GHz. Hope this helps. God Bless :)
