After doing all that research on the laptops I'm just letting it rest on my head before I make my final decision, So I'm just waiting a few weeks. But I'm curious, with the c90 I configured which turned out to 1,500, how much would the 8800m upgrade run it up? Just a guess is what i'm looking for, because I don't think anyone would have an accurate answer to that :p. If it will run it up too much, then I won't even worry about it.

Only reason I thought about it is because I don't want to end up buying one now, and for 50 bucks or so more( which I doubT ) a newer card will be out and i'll regret it :).

If you buy the card as un upgrade replacing the 8600M GT aftermarket, my guess is about 400-500$.

If you buy a C90s with a 8800M already inside my guess is that it costs about 200-250$ more then the same C90s with a 8600M.

Alright, I don't think it should be too big of a problem with the 8600 to run Crysis med-high settings though, Just checking to see how much it would possibly run.. I'll keep waiting to let it rest in my head, thanks.

If I can find a nice laptop under $2000 that has a 8800M, a fast processor, 2GB ram, then I will be happy. I, of course, want a 15 inch notebook, but having a 17" would really not bother me, if the thing is a gaming monster.

Note: I have survived on a 6 year old HP Pavilion 763n that has a 64MB GeForce MX420 and 512MB ram. I'm used to setting games on sub-lowest settings (lol) and going to extremes to barely run the games. Only when Prey came out, new games stopped working for me. This was mostly due to the fact that this card has no shader capabilities. A 8600M GT would most likely exceed my expectation, but I really hope I could get a 8800M, cause it's so nice. Maybe even a 8700M GT.

Maybe Bioshock? That's definately going to be a game worth playing for a long time. I hope Haze comes out on PC close to when it does for PS3. I used to be a console gamer, but have been a PC Gamer now for about 2 years and I don't think I will ever go back to consoles.
