We all know that Gateway is selling a notebook with the 8800m GTS under $1500. For those of us that live outside of the U.S., there aren't any other manufacturers currently selling sub $1500 notebooks with that video card as far as I know. When do you think we'll start to see other manufacturers sell notebooks with the 8800m (or it's equivalent 9000 series) under $1500? The tech market is difficult to predict but I think this is a major decision (at least for me it is) as to whether or not one would get a notebook now with an 8600m GT under $1500 or wait for the more powerful graphics cards to come out at a reasonable price.

The 8600GT is good but in the end it depends on what are you going to use it for.
