    He mentions that it's compatible with Alienware Area51 and m17x laptops; therefore is an 8800M GTX. The older M17x and M15x uses the 8800M GTX module. They don't not use 8800M GTS modules. He may also be referring to the 9800M GT module aka 8800M GTX. Either way, they're re-badged and the same.

    There are only two 8800M types for notebooks; GTS and GTX.
