So the card worked great on Bioshock Infinite and DOTA, but I've had two issues so far. I have a guaranteed lock up in Titanfall - trying a reinstall to see if that works better now.

The main one however is the 50% utilization drop in BF4. The game is yo-yoing all over the place and it surely can't be due to throttling as the GPU isn't hitting over 65 degrees. I've heard some bad things about the latest Nvidia driver which I have, should I switch that out and see? Is it a Windows 7 thing? I do have an upgrade key for 8 that I could use.

Wondering if anyone had had the same problem.

EDIT: Reinstalled Titanfall and went to Windows 8 (from 7) and the issue is fixed. Now I only get FPS drops on maps with water but that seems to be a widespread issue with the game, not my card, as I also experienced that on my last machine.

If you're using the 340.43 driver, drop to 337.88.

I don't play BF or Titanfall so I can't comment on those specifically but 340.43 was bad with every game except Watch Dogs.

Hey OP, could you please have a quick look at this thread here?

If you don't mind jumping through the hoops, once we get enough 880M owners making noise nVidia may just finally get off their butt and do something...

    Thanks man, I'll try that.

I'll give it a shot. Will reinstall Titanfall and do the driver downgrade and see if that helps. If not, I'll post there.
