Uh...even though the 9300 is technically 9xxx card, don't expect it to be good. Really, the 300 series tends to be close to the lowest discrete cards in terms of power; even if the 9300 has all the fancy DX10 support you'll have to run DX9 mode because the card is so weak.
At 16 shaders, it'll probably have trouble running most games and the 64-bit interface will be pretty bad
I'm pretty sure this is right, correct me if I'm wrong (by the way, I had this same misconception that even lower end 8xxx series should be stronger than 7xxx series)
Sorry to crush your hopes -
The 9300M GS is just an 8400M GS repackaged. Not that strong of a card; the processor should be fine unless you plan on using it for CPU-intensive tasks (video encoding, RTS games, etc etc.)

Your bottleneck in gaming will still be the GPU, as noted it is weak. Take a look at the 8400M-GS review to get an idea of what to expect from the card:

The CPU is actually fine, the Pentium Dual-Core is a cut-down Core 2 Duo. Its performance should be adequate for most people. -
hehe thx for your replies
glad i didnt buy it then, cant believe a 8400gt would be better than anything in the 9*** series :/ (slaps nvidia on back of wrist)
i spose the latest game i do actually play is half life 2 episode one and quake 3 lol thx anyways
