Does anyone know what is the gaming power difference between the DDR2 and DDR3 9600M GT.

please get the ddr3 version of 9600m gt. It'll make the difference between you playing games on medium and you playing games on high settings.

I don't know of any specific benchmarks but I imagine since the difference between the 8600m GT with GDDR2 and GDDR3 is pretty big, that the 9600m GT with GDDR3 would be a lot better than the GDDR2 model.

I'm pretty sure the 9600gt ddr2 is like an 8600gt ddr3 and the 9600gt ddr3 is the equal to an 8700m gt

I recall the DDR2 version scoring around 4400 in 3dmark06 while the DDR3 scoring around 5200 points.
