i was in the process of uninstalling my intel and nvidia drivers to try another driver , i uninstalled the nvidia drivers then pressed shift and clicked into restart to boot into the safe mode , when i was about to pick the safe mode my laptop shutdown suddenly , i turned it on again and did a driver cleaning using driverfusion , restarted into windows normally and went ahead to install nvidia driver just for the setup to tell me there is no nvidia hardware detected , i shutdown and restarted many times with no avail , i even removed the power source and the battery and pressed on the power button for 30 seconds and still the 970m wont show up , the laptop is barely one month old and the temps is always under 70 , how could the graphic card die so soon????? please help :(((

No need to panic! Did you check if it appears at BIOS, the fact that your laptop passes POST is good. So the card is not dead, and I am pretty sure it appears at BIOS. Check BIOS and let us know if you see it. Also what is your laptop's brand / model?

It should show under Main as Discrete Graphics. Even if it is undetected, it should state it (though this is with AW unlocked BIOS, no idea about MSI).

That laptop has an MXM card right? I would try to reseat the card if you cannot get it to see on BIOS (I had this happen on me a few times, if it has slightly moved, it just is not connected anymore and laptop boots on iGPU).

thx god problem solved , i almost got a heart attack as i cant afford to ship it back to the usa , i used mircosoft "fixit" , it detected a strange named device , like a two meters long name with a yellow exclamation mark , did some fixing and got the sweet sweet black screen flickering which meant my 970m was bumped back to life!!!!
