You'll run everything on high(maybe a medium or two), it will run very well. You have nothing to worry about. :D And Congrats .

That is awesome to hear! It's been a while since I had a rig that could play anything more then HL2 in 800x600. I have a new 22" monitor waiting for it and everything.

A better question would be do you buy left or dead or wait for resident evil 5 on the 13th.

your system will run both games like butter

Buying an Asus G50VT huh? :) Congrats. You'll run it perfectly fine at high settings and maxed resolution by my judgement.
Almost have the same system but I've got a GTS which is only SLIGHTLY better and I max everything out at 1920x1200 resolution and have perfectly fine FPS, you'll be able to do the same at the G50VT's max resolution since it isn't as high :)

Seriously doubt RE5 is going to be released on PC on the 13th :p

Presumably he is referring to the 2.26GHz P8400 Core 2 Duo w/ 3MB L2 cache.

I have the X1, and Left 4 Dead ran super-smooth on high everything (except maybe AA, I forget). Valve is great at making their games run efficiently.

Just max it out. I do with my 880m GTS which is a lowe clocked version of your GPU.

I think you have more power than what L4D needs. You should be able to run it on all high. Don't worry about that :D
