    9800M GTX compatible with MXM III Nvidia MCP77?

    Okay, I am looking at an MSI GX630, with MXM III slot and Nvidia MCP77 chipset. This is the highest-end card I would probably ever want/ need, but would it be compatible in ALL fields with the GX630? If not, I would appreciate you giving me a list or a few cards that I can use in this laptop. (P.S. the MSI GX630 already has the 9600M GT DDR3 512 Video Memory.)

    I think the GTX needs a MXM-IV slot.

    MXM-III allows 9800GT/8800GTX, 9800GTS, 9800GS, 9700GTS. You probably don't want to go any lower than that.

    MXM is a bit complicated
    even if the types match, the card may not be compatible.
    notebooks just arent made for the same kinda universal compatibility that desktop motherboards are
