Rather than take up many threads, I thought I'd start a single 9800m gs overclock thread. It started as my benchmarks and IM trying to make a good database on the Asus G50vt-X5/ 9800m gs benchmarks, and Im getting great results overclocking. Original post here.

Also look at the 3dmark06 list on this page. Someone posted up a huge list with everyones GPU.

BTW, what stability tests have you used on those OC's? They still seem a bit out of the ordinary.

Those are good posts, but already posted in the first one, and for the G50VT series specifically its not the best version of the 9800m gs, and from what I read a lot of people have problems flashing it and stabilizing. and with these clocks, I'm perfectly fine with that lol. Not many gpu's, especially in laptops, have 2ghz shaders.

So far I'm playing all my games as hard as I can. I trust from my earlier 2.65ghz shader clock that I cant expect this to last very long, but for 2ghz shaders, this is going very stable. No artifacts, no glitches, and benchmarks with fraps show an increase.

A G50VT is what you have >_>

I overclock the CPU with setFSB and use NiBiTor to edit the GPU vBIOS.

ICS9LPR604AGLF is what I'm using, and it works fairly well. I get a stable 2.64GHz, which is better than the 2.49GHz Direct Console was giving me.

OK. Seeing yours as a 2.26ghz and mine a 2.13ghz, maybe i can squeeze 2.4 out of it. well see lol. Then Ill update my benchmarks for crysis warhead and cod4, and do some more later.
