Don't take this chart too serious guys!!

thats alot of GPUs lol..
-
I've posted that same pic some 1 month ago I think
-
The 9900's \ hd4800's might be worth a glance. This isn't anything(much) new:\
-
just wondering since no ones really mentioned it
-
No one's mentioned it since no one can say for sure what is the deal about them
-
also the chart might be suggesting that 9800m gtx have 128 stream processors because of G92 core.
-
That would instantly mean at least a 25% performance increase over the 8800M GTX, but it`s been rumoured that it will still have just 96 SPs...
-
If the 9 series mobile is anything like the 9 series desktop, it is essentially just an overclocked version of the later G92 8 series...
So because the mobile 8 series is really the progenitor of the G92, I can't imagine much will be changed besides higher clocks and possibly a smaller manufacturing process.
Besides, I'm getting along just fine with my 8600m GT. -
That chart has a mistake. It doesn't include a Geforce 9500M GS rather a 9500M G. The same goes for the architecture of the 9500M being G84M.
-
-
The Forerunner Notebook Virtuoso
Eh I've doubted that chart from the beginning. I doubt theres going to be 12-14 versions of the mobile 9 series.
-
yea, me too........
-
The 9500M GS isn't a true 9 series card, which is why it's not on the chart. It's just the 8600M GT rebadged.
edit: just to elabourate, the 9300M G and 9300M GT are 8400M GS based, while the 9650M GS is 8700M GT based - these 3 GPUs are also absent from the chart. -
I think that that chart is bull.....
-
-
. I know I'm going to buy an Dell XPS 1530 with 8600M GT, then a couple months down the road I'm going to find out they fit a 9800M in there!
-
They won't.
9800M GTX is stated to work on the Clevo M570TU and 860TU so far. -
-
Well,Dell might be offering hardcore 15 inchers soon, since Sager and Alienware already are. Maybe not in tht 1530 ...but who knows.
-
That chart must be bull. I mean not even for the 8 series did they provide that many GPU´s. Just look at it 9700mGT, 9700mGS, 9700mGTS, 9650mGT what is this a double GPU or what? Not even the desktops has this many different GPU´s
-
So the chart was made by a drunk hyena.Oh well.
-
Man I´m so pissed... the GT200 core is so near now...
...the GeForce GTX 280 will have the power of two 9800GTX, or more... 240SPs, 512bits bus, 141GB/s(holy sh*t), 32 ROPs... one 9800M GTX will look like a toy side by side with one of these...
-
Audigy the GT200 series are not even for sale yet lol. it's gonna take them looooooong time to figure out the way to change 240W into 35W.
-
By the time that 9800M GTX will be released, the GT200 core series will be out too(July)...
My 8700M GT is more than enought for me now, so I can wait for it... even if will take 1 year... I want one of those -
i guess its gonna be like "7950 gtx -> 8800m" all over again.
-
Don`t mock my 7950GTX or I will bash you with my spare tire!
-
Both 7950GTX and 8800M GTX have 256bits... now this one will have two times more bus bandwidth...
This thing will play Crysis like wiping my ass with silk... -
Audigy i started thinking about my next laptop already since few days ago
-
You guys are getting ahead of yourselves.
Wait for the desktop GT200 to show up,add 6-9months and then you`ll see the mobile counterparts... -
I don´t play as much as before, and the games that I play most of the time now, like Live for Speed, GTR2, CS 1.6, they run at 1680x1050 with AA 16x and AF 16x very smoothly...
I´ve changed my 8700M´s name already to get used to it:
-
Lol.
Won`t that give you a hard time updating your drivers? -
It´s realy simple to change them in the inf file. The 8700M GT have the 0409.1 as PCI ID so just write anything you want between the quotes:
Now you are ready to make a lot of people jealous... "look at my 9950M Ultra"xD hahhahaa
-
Lol.
And look how my 9950M Ultra cannot play Crysis all high even at 1400x900 -
xD
"Thats because the drivers, they suck... this card is to new so I´m waiting for a better ones!" xD hahahahaha
-
-
Or maybe the chart were made by a drunken monkey
Yeah the desktop GT200 is a killer, but expect the notebook GPU of that core to be crippled in someway like they always do to our notebook GPU´s.
9800m GT exited?
