    Hello everybody,

i just bought a used 9800m gtx on Ebay. The Card kept crashing under load until i manually raised the voltage from 1.0v to 1.05v using nbitor. Is there something wrong with the card or has been modified before ?

That's interesting, because the last 9800m GTX vbios I've seen had a maximum voltage in nibitor of 1.03v (and that was the default). Guess your card must have been from a different notebook.

I've also found some older bios, which allows 1,03 for maximum but with that bios the card is detected as "Standard VGA" and theres no way to install the right driver with this one.

edit: i can't select 1,03 with the current bios. just 1,00 and 1,05

    Two kinds of 9800m GTX.

One with dev ID 0608 is used by M570TU, VID 00->1.03v

The other one with dev ID 0617 is used by D901C, VID 00->1.05v

You'd better flash 0617 vbios to your card as you use it on D901C.
