well ive noticed that alot of the games ive played ex (DMC4, DEAD SPACE, FALLOUT 3 etc other recently released games) their is always a moment where the screen has a blurry line that runs up across the screen, (this is the best way i can explain it). this usually happens when i turn around or do something very quick. but this problem doesnt happen on games that are a bit older like CS:S, warcraft 3, and other older games. although this problem does not affect my gameplay it does get very annoying and is very noticable. does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it?

    Hmm.

I have the same system besides your CPU, I have Dead Space and Fallout 3 and I have not noticed your problem. So I would say it's your CPU but I doubt it. Do you have different drivers than stock? I have the stock drivers from Sager/Clevo.

It's called vertical tearing and it's a result of the response time on your monitor in combination with the refresh rate / frames per second. Setting vertical sync will eliminate it completely but only use it if you're capable of a steady 60-80 FPS in a given game.
