    Hello, how are you?
    I am curious in this.
What would be better for gaming and provide the better experience and also be able to handle AAA games better now and in the future?
The first option is a TN display with a 980m 4gb onboard.
The second option is an IPS display with a 970m 6gb MXM and Gsync.

What would be your pick for gaming? And why?

    Thanks for the help.
    Cheers!

980m is 30 percent faster, will play games much better even with less vram. On the other hand gsync is a god send. What games are you playing?

Go with the G-Sync model and upgrade it to a 980M G-Sync card later.

G-Sync will give the illusion that it's boosting your 970M performance. :p It's nice.
