    **There were one or two sketchy models/brands here and there with exceedingly low and deviant benchmarks, I didn't include these since it's likely nobody here will even be able to buy them since they aren't available outside of taiwan it seems.

    I believe that's the same TongFang chasis as the Mech-17 so it should be similar.. but I have no idea, and am VERY uncertain about that since no dimensions or pictures are available.

    Got it, thanks. I believe the biggest difference between this one and the tongfang/mech-17 is that the EVOC has gysnc.

    So if I am reading your analysis correctly, the Mech-17 has the best performance for the 2070 full? Argh, I really want that one, I just wish it had gsync :(

    Yeah I'm stuck between the two as well, but from what I understand that gsync panel has a significantly larger GTG lag (7ms vs 3ms) but that doesn't tell the full story of course.. we would need a reviewer to measure the actual input lag between the two to know which panel is truly superior. I guess it comes down to what games you're going to be playing, and what settings you're playing them at cause if you're getting over 120 fps gsync is pretty pointless. It'll be most significant under 70fps on a panel like that. Also you need to plugged in pretty much all the time with gsync since it disables Optimus (so rip battery).

    PS I believe the top mech-17 benchmark sample is from someone who overclocked it. Eluktronics offers repasting/liquid metal for pretty cheap too so it's not surprising that the average benchmark for this model is high.

    I wouldnt get to held up on the gsync. Its great but as long as you have a high refresh rate panel you wont see tearing unless you look for it. As long as you have the horsepower to drive it fast 90-100FPS+ you'll be fine.

    On a big monitor gsync is more worth it although if I had known nvidia was going to allow freesync support I wouldnt have bought the expensive Acer Predator 1440p gsync monitor I got around xmas. Its great I love it but not worth the extra cash. A good freesync monitor gives you the gsync experience imo.

    I hope one day we get modded drivers that will allow adaptive sync to work on any laptop panel. That'd be nice
