What games do you plan on playing? At what settings? Do you plan on playing future games as well, and at what settings?

Just saying "good for games" is extremely vague and doesn't help much at all with trying to give meaningful advice.

I would assume he means, which one would get better FPS/performance in modern games titles. The fact of the matter is this. Neither of them are any good at games, and the intel integrated is slightly faster overall. Don't get either option for gaming purposes.

Yeah, pretty much. For casual games, either will be good options (though the 4400 will have better battery life). But anything more than Facebook games and Minecraft will require something better than either.

How much are you willing to spend? A price range would be a good start. Look for something with a halfway decent dedicated GPU since you state you want to play games like metro last light, crysis and battlefield on lower settings. Even on lower settings these games still need a dedicated gpu in order to play at a fluent framerate.

The ULV processor (with a -U) will bottleneck those CPU-intensive games you're playing; maybe able to pull off low settings, but multiplayer will take a hit. As for the GPU, is a little better, though it's only a little better than those already mentioned.

I'd look for something with at least a Radeon 8770M or GeForce 750M (or equivalents) to those two, paired with at least a full-voltage (not -U) i3 or i5 CPU. And personally, for a 15.6" laptop, I'd consider a 1600x900 display to be bare minimum, with 1920x1080 being ideal; 1366x768 is a netbook, tablet, and phone resolution and has no place in such a big laptop IMO.

A customized HP envy 15z-j000 might be just what you need. AMD 8750m, 1080p, A10-5750/A8-5550 etc. You can customize it to meet your hearts content and maybe get a coupon to lower the price a lil bit.

    I would not go anything below i7 4700 / 8GB / GT750m for modern gaming.

Config can be found for around 800 Euros, reach for it and enjoy.

Check your local Best Buy stores to see if any of them have an open box ASUS G46VW available, it is $799 brand new and people have been able to get open boxes for around $500-$600. It's a 14" notebook with a Core i5 3210M and a Geforce GTX 660M video card that can play all the games you listed fairly easily.
