Resolutions are more dependant on the screen you are using then the card. If the resolution is below the max the card can do(which the one you want is) then you can do it once the monitor is hooked up.

I was reading on the powerstrip site that it was not compatible with mobile graphics cards but they can work. So i was a little confused and just wanted confirmation that i could create a custom res setting with the required hz settings etc.

Well what I am saying is that there is no reason you should have to make a custom setting. Plugging the TV in as the monitor should simply open the options that the TV has as resolutions.

If you do have to make a custom setting, then it again should just work. I haven't used that resolution specifically, but i've gone to my monitor for my desktop from notebook, and it gives me all the resolution settings up to 1680x1050 that my monitor can do.

Edit: And I have 8600m GT, I would test on my TV, but my TV does 1920x1080, so I don't have anything to actually test 1360x786

yeah, my plasma is 1024 x 768 and i have to force the resolution normally which will work from my PC's 8600GT with powerstrip . It may be a case of just creating a custom monitor inf file. I might just have to wait and see thanks . The other reason for power strip is to create a pal resolution and a NTSC one a 50Hz (i think thats right)
