Hi guys, I have a Lenovo Y530 with a 9500m G (not GS) 512mb that I have OC'ed to 650/500/1500 from the default of 500/400/1250. I haven't had any problems as far as artifacts or anything and after a hour or two of TF2 my core temp is around 79-84°. Is this setting too high? How can I monitor my memory temps? Can I go further? My second question is if anyone knows how to disable Powermizer with the 185.81 drivers for Windows 7. I used the Powermizer switch app under Vista (179.48 drivers) but it doesn't seem to work under 7 with these drivers and I can't find the PerfLevelSrc key in the registry. Should I downgrade to a different driver or is there a solution for this using 185.81? Thanks guys.

The answers to the temperature and temperature monitoring are over at cooling central.

Thanks guys, this forum has been an excellent resource. I've read that thread before and I guess my real question is if temperature is the only thing to worry about. I really have no desire to go higher as all of the Source Engine games run at 60fps with vsync on for me and that's all I really care about on the PC (although CitiesXL looks pretty cool). For some reason the only temp monitoring app I can get to run is HWMonitor, which is awesome but doesn't show the memory temps on the GPU. I'll probably slowly dial my speeds down until I still get a good framerate in TF2. I really don't want to burn out my GPU. Anyone else running the new drivers and successfully turned off Powermizer?

Have you tried GoodBytes's free program here? It says it's Win 7 compatible, so you might have some luck in using it. :D Wow, good overclock, what tool did you use? :D Nice work

Yes, I tried that. Unfortunately the Powermizer options are not selectable. I think this problem has more to do with the 185.81 driver than Win7. Hopefully I will find a solution soon, because it is affecting my Aero performance. Once I figure it out I will post the solution here. As far as overclocking, I just used the Nvidia performance app from Nvidia themselves. I started at the default and raised each setting 10mhz at a time until TF2 was running super smooth with no artifacts and good temps after an hour or two of play.

Agreed!!Anything above 84c is considered as overheating. At least, thats my opinion,
