I've just finished Quake4, a nice and scary game that even my notebook can play on the highest settings. But as obvious i'm only a casual gamer, and i should add that i don't know any of the games mentioned other then by name.....

what you want are the old skool shooters. come and join us on CoD1

From what I saw of COD 4, it's not tactical, mabe for one chapter, but most of the game is run and gun!
R6 Vegas is very tactical! and really fun, but it's a system killer, and turning everything to minimum might not even help! (it crippled my old X1950XT which is more powerful than your card by alot)
Ghost recon is tactical, but I never got into it, never liked it, or it's graphics..
Crysis can be whatever you want it to be. If you like tactical, take that approach, and it will work if your good at being tactical, but you can also run and gun, or run and beat the hell out of themAnd yes IT WILL run OK on your system at med/min settings, or mostly minimum at native res.

CoD4 isn't tactical but it sure as hell is fun,
the best tactical I would say is Vegas if you can manage to run it. -
The Forerunner Notebook Virtuoso
Well I think the multiplayer tactics have changed due to the immense amount of customizable weapons and the special abilities you attribute yourself. Weapons, attachments, and perks are all customizable. Also getting to a new class gives you new challenges that can earn you extra experience points.
Already paid for the game in full pickin it up on monday. -
what game?
