A really good game !

Hiya guys, i have been playing this game for a while http://www.fomportal.com/

Its basicly a MMOFPS with its own player created roleplaying elements, FoM is a bit like GTA online with a bit of rpg set in a future enviroment. Its sooo fun and a very orignal storyline, theres only one server with around 200 active players but it is growing day by day, theres no endless fighting against NPC this is player versus player.. there could easyly be 20v20v20v20 at one time.

The only real problem is that there is no free trail for the time being, so if you want to play this amazing game you will have to pay, its about £7 and the same price range in dollers and euros.

Ps: all the ranks in the game are decided by your fraction leader.

 

Only 200 players? Then I am not surprised by comments like those below.

From the Wikipedia article about the game: "Much criticism has accumulated over the years, mostly from the players themselves. [...] One other major complaint is the lack of things to do. Due to the political aspect of the game, it is not uncommon for a faction to go months at a time without warring. This leaves the player to find entertainment for him or herself, which often simply turns into ganking if the player doesn't leave."

From the comments at GameOgre: "stay away from this game," "absolutely ruins any chance you may have of having fun," "most of the time you ll be wandering aimlessly with nothing to do."

Yeah, that isn't anything I would pay for. Especially with those "rave" reviews for it.
