A way to use ATI's PowerPlay AND underclock the card further?

Just curious...and interested in saving a little extra battery power.

Currently, my card is running with ATI's PowerPlay on "Battery Optimized" settings (with lower voltage as well) with 209/135 clocks.

Is there a way to keep the undervolting control like it is and further reduce the clock speed using another program? CCC isn't exactly clock control friendly, NHC allows either PowerPlay or clock control but not both, and ATITool's only messes with clocks and isn't friendly with PowerPlay.

Any ideas? The lesser the clocks the better the battery life.

yeah, that would be nice. it'd be nice to switch off the gfx card too, but that's wishful thinking i suppose.

In my experience, there are minimal gains to be had with the X1xx cards because they cannot be underclocked much below the clocks that Powerplay uses. Whereas I could underclock a 9700 to 65/65 from defaults of something like 200/200, I cannot underclock my X1700 more than about 20 MHz below the Powerplay battery settings without it freezing, and I found a similar result with an X1400.
