In the past months, i i played AVA, in medium-high settings, no AA nor AF, everything elese on, i got 25-55 FPS, depending on the map, w/ 197.16 drivers.
After a 3 months brake for exams, im playing it again, with the same settings, but i get very low FPS 2-9 periods, followed by 30-50 FPS periods; in fact not only on AVA but on every game i play. what is going wrong? i know G105M isn't worth a cent but before i didnt lag a bit.

Perhaps you should try cleaning out the vents.

First of all, you should have chosen a better title. This is not me being picky (okay, maybe a little), but it's in your own best interest to have a good description in the title.

Relative to your problem, I agree with CarlosGFK above that it is likely to be an overheating problem. Try downloading HWmonitor from CPUID and posting the temperatures both when the laptop is idle and when it is gaming (use the "max" temperature in the gaming case).

A.V.A or Alliance of Valiant Arms is a game that plays like CoD4.
And its not that hard to run either so yeah, its weird that you experience fps lag.

Recommend you to clean the check the temps and clean the vents as mentioned by CarlosGFK & HerrKaputt.
Also grab the latest Nvidia drivers and manually disable Powermizer.

i've seen it, and what's worrying me is the cpu temps:
CPU Min: 61º; CPU Max: 90º
GPU Min: 51º; GPU Max: 85º

Yea i got to say those temps are kind of high, especially for the cpu. Even though the components can handle that much heat, I would not like any of my components that hot.

Start out by blowing out the dust that usually gets trapped in the vents, using a can of compressed air.

Clear out your vents and fan first. Turn to undervolting as a last resort.

Yeah, undervolting wont fix your clogged fans. :(
Just buy a can of compressed air and use it with your notebook, but be careful not to damage the fan.
I allways try jamming something on the fan so it wont move, then give it a light spray of air.
Then move the fan a little and repeat.
But this will only work if you can get to the fan of course.
