man coming off from AC3 on PS3, Black Flag is stunning on PC. It really feels next gen to me for some reason.

I thought so, too. How was the performance at the settings you're currently playing at before the beta driver, krizz?

It's the water that does it for me, never seen it so realistic. The overall colour palette throughout the game is slightly over saturated, but it is stunning pretty much everywhere.

    I can't believe it. Just can't f-ing believe it.

Update 1.01 fixed my issue, the game ran flawlessly on perfect settings, I had a blast, and then they released a new update just now and the game hangs when starting up with a black screen. Restarting, offline mode, validating files, nothing works. Again. These guys are the worst thing that happen on gaming, mainly because they make such fine games. The feeling is like eating the best sandwich you can possibly imagine, which has a moldy spot in it.

I hate you Ubisoft. I truly, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, despise every last one of you guys. Really. No other gaming company brought me so low.

im going to give a try sasuke with latest drivers today...will report here if its anything better..btw can someone explain me what D3DOverdriver makes???i read that people experience better framerate and something about vsync...wil D3overdriver help me also?cause i dont play at 60fps like some else

I tested it and the new beta drivers improve framerate by 3-5fps by me in the first jungle...i didnt noticed notable change in havana..probably there is a smaller boost but in jungle you will see most the difference

The smoke looks nice, if a bit overbearing for the player, but there are plenty of people talking about crippled performance (from 60 fps to 25-30 as an example). Maybe the 780M or high-end SLI users could try it. The standard smoke is actually well done anyway...
