Anyone playing the beta and got an sli system? Reason I ask is, that only one of my cards is being used for the game, I run any other game and both cards temps go up. Two weeks ago Aion was running both cards, I just wonder if they cut it off for testing?

    Thanks.

Thanks Warcraft, double check your temps next time you play just to verify if you dont mind?

It was using SLI last beta 2 weeks ago, or at least both my cards were working on it.

Yes its enabled, I log off Aion and play any other game I have and the second card starts moving up in temps, go back to aion and only one card gets warm?

I will be very disappointed if it doesn't support SLI...

It does. The log-in screen only uses 1 vid card though lol.

Actually, I'm using an M17x as well, and SLI is not supported, at least on my Vista 64 bit OS. I've done some tests and measured the temps. Essentially, when you run Aion it makes sense to globally force alternate rendering 2 through the nVidia control panel before you load Aion (haven't noticed much of a difference between 1 or 2 really) as it will reduce the heat on your cards and FPS will stay largely the same, if not improve slightly. Until they fix the .bin issue or nVidia figures out a way to allow you to make a profile, it seems like the only way to force SLI. Otherwise, you'll note that the SLI indicators do not show up on the screen, and monitoring the temps you'll find only one GPU is being used. All that being said, as others have mentioned, I haven't noticed much of a FPS boost in using SLI, but the temperature benefit is excellent for a laptop -- the fans stay much quieter over the long haul.

Hopefully they will support it soon so you take better advantage of the performance boost.

I know this an old topic related to the Beta release but figured I would throw an update on this. Final release supports SLI and the beta at the time did support SLI (Aug/Sept Beta). This was tested on my Clevo 2 x 280M. I noticed a FPS increase when running SLI, depending on area I would see an upwards of 30+ compared to single video card.

    My specs,
    Q9000
    2 x 280M
    4GB DDR3
    260GB x WD Raid 0
    25/25 Fiber Internet
Tested over wireless N, not ethernet cable.
