They are working on it. But for you, it's totally not needed. You should be able to play the game fine on your single card. Though I think they may be working on it, but it's probably not that high on priority since Skyrim is such a wussy game to run on modern GPUs.

There is a fix for it already on Guru3D. Just drop a AMD driver file in the game directory and CFX should work. Reported success on Guru3D and HardOCP.

Skyrim is a terrible console port. My guess, your issues are NOT AMD issues, but rather Bethesda laziness and maybe they will fix it. But probably not, will just have to wait for mods to fix it, since Bethesda can't be bothered to.

Looks like another performance driver for Skyrim and Rage will be released soon. Maybe in 1 week or two.

Just not for CFX. And as said before if you really cared about it, there are already fixes for it in the wild on Guru and HardOCP.

Skyrim performance has been in the driver files for months far as I know.

Put them on my mom's Inspiron m5030. Imagine her shock (since she knows NOTHING about computers) when her WEI went from 4.2 to 3.1 :D :p . She's not privy to the factualities, so she just went *GAH!*

Oh well. I'm trying to convince her to get a proper laptop. With a 6750m or 540m class GPU.

Got my fingers crossed that there might be a fix in here for OpenGL applications not working with automatic graphic switching (for those of us who haven't been blessed with a proper BIOS update).

I wish AMD mobile drivers came with MLAA enabled, I don't like messing with the registry.

I remember some previous mobile drivers came with MLAA enabled, wish somebody would do that all the time.

Skyrim is too new, probably the next driver will see some improvement. Only outdoors Markath [sp?] has noticeably low fps in many places due to lots of shadows and polys.
