    Hi,

Just updated my AMD 6990m Graphics Card to the latest drivers from AMD (Driver Version:8.951.0.0) and ran into a peculiar issue.

Earlier, when there was no load, i.e, when I wasn't gaming or watching a video, the GPU and GPU Memory clock used to be at 100/150 MHz respectively. Used to go up as the load increased (max 715/900). But after the driver update they are stuck 715/900 all the time leading to higher idle temps.

Does anyone know what happened and how can I resolve this?

    Thanks!

Ensure Powerplay is enabled in driver settings.

Powerplay was enabled. But I just disabled and enabled it again and it worked! Now without any load the clocks are at 100/150 level. Strange!!

    Thanks for helping! :)
