Unkown reason my cpu goes up to 2.3 Ghz when I take it to its maxs. In CCC I can adjust clock speed between 1.4 to 1.9. but
when I use it on 100% (1.9) it will go 2.3 when cpus working hard. So I use 1.8 on power saving and balanced 1.9. Althought if I go with high performance it will be all the time at 2.3 and temp gets up to around 80.

    I installed mantle drivers
    I reinstalled OS
    I installed mantle drivers

And now Im here. Anyway this isn bother me because I get extra kick in some of games which doesnt require so "much".
Example Dark souls II runs fine near 40- 60fps all the time. But meanwhile F1 2012- 2013 runs really great but it takes temps to 80 which isnt what I want to. 2012 runs in ~ 70- 75 which is still good but 2013 is just too much for it.

Can anyone expain what has happened to my computer?

I think the max temps before throttling for that chip are ~100C, so I wouldn't worry about temps in the low to mid 80's.

Edit - to answer your question, I don't know what happened, but I personally would be happy with the extra performance.
