AMD Catalyst? Notebook Display Driver 13.12 WHQL

AMD has released the Catalyst 13.12 WHQL graphics drivers.

Available for downloading at AMD's website:

Mobile (Win 7 64).

 

It's not working for me. When I download it, it won't let me open the drivers installation because it says that version is not compatible with my OS (Win 7 64 bit). Not sure what's going on ....

 

This link only leads me to the AMD Mobility Radeon™ Driver Verification Tool, but that is never working for me. A direct link to the whole mobility driver?

I still can't get this to download. I download the Driver Verification Tool and it doesn't download anything. Is there some direct link to the drivers where I can download them?

The direct link won't work for me too.I get redirected to a "Download Not Complete" page explaining stuff about download not allowed from outside sites and stuff.

I used that one okey, just deactivate your DL accelerators AMD do not allow them anymore

 

No DL accelerator.Just Firefox.

They don't have this one uploaded right yet, the verify tool d/l's a 48KB file instead of the 202MB package we're used to seeing. Eventually they'll fix it.

That has been happening to me for a couple of months, get you act together AMD.

I believe you and thanks from the community, but please don't take it personally that I only get my vga drivers from amd.com or dell.com (when those are needed), I don't even get them from guru.

I've seen it before too John, they'll get it straight.

I have been experiencing this problem for months as well. Hopefully AMD will fix the link soon. In the meantime I downloaded the driver from sasuke256's link, it's all good.

 

Installed them yesterday, no apparent performance gain in BF4 coming from 13.11 beta 9.2 (or whichever of the hundreds 13.11 I had). Didnt break anything either as of yet.

 

I take it there are no improvements made to Skyrim??

I actually checked Skyrim after installing these drivers. Texture flickering is gone and frame pacing works. YMMV though.

 

Frame pacing is only for CrossFire.

Kinda funny how far this WHQL driver is behind the Beta builds considering the first multi-GPU frame pacing driver, Catalyst 13.8 Beta 1, was released almost 5 months ago.

 

Sorry, I used a wrong expression, which might have been misleading. What I had in mind was that there was a specific fix for Skyrim in one of the previously released betas, which was basically frame pacing. Before that fix framerate in Skyrim used to stutter (even on single AMD GPU systems), despite high FPS count. After that fix the stuttering was gone.

I downloaded the bundle and installed it on my 3-year old Sony with 5470M graphics, just for kicks. I hardly play any games. It seems to be ok, but I haven't done any tests.

 

Any idea how to properly install these drivers on an enduro system with a 7970M

 

I got an jump in Win8.0 WEI score from 4.7 Graphics 6.3 Gaming Graphics to 6.7 Graphics 6.7 Gaming Graphics

I did an unistall frist when i normally do an overwrite i dont know if this is the cause for the WEI score jump.

Fn+F7 making sure you're in discrete gpu only (look in Device Manager and see the 7970m only, if you see the HD4000, hit Fn+F7 again), then execute file and follow instructions.

 

I installed the latest drivers (13.12) and then ran 3D Mark11 to check my scores to end up with these horrible scores. Not sure what is wrong here. Can anyone shed some light?

AMD drivers always been like tombola : sometimes good, sometimes baadd !

 

Driver is working fine for me. I havent noticed any problem with this driver yet. 3d mark skore ist the same as before with the older betas- arround 6650

 

Working fine here too, not a single crash in couple of days.

 

Yeah thats pretty bad.
You are like scoring 40% of what you should have with the 7970M.

Revert back and see if the score remain. If not, its the driver.

 

Driver working superB for me, it is fast as 13.11 beta 1, but without instability. Just to write good words too .

 

Ditto.. finally getting some drivers that work, although looking around for some drivers for the intel 4000 that don't have a stretched interface in the application

 

Can I install this drivers for my Alienware M17xR3 Win 7 64 bit, ATi 6900m + Intel HD gpu System?
Or is it not meant for my videocard combo? When I went to the amd.com site last night, all I found for downloading was 13.11 beta v9.5 drivers.

 

yes , you can install the driver with out any issue. just install it on top of current driver(Overwrite).

 

A simple overwrite did the trick for me as well no problems here.
