    Hi!
Is Enduro technology compatible with older Radeon chips like 7670m ? What it looks like ? Is it hardware or software based technology? I know older models support Dynamic Switchable Graphics or something but Enduro looks like an update and I am wondering if I will be able to use it on my 7670m. NV Optimus is all clear and transparent because this is the only technology used by nvidia, while situation with AMD is very confusing.

In one word, yes. Your 7670M is supported and the technology is both software and hardware dependent. Read this recent article from Anandtech about AMD's switchable graphics solution (Enduro); its past, present state and what the future will bring as well as other implications that AMD has had to deal with along this endeavor. It certainly helped me get a better understanding but more information can always be researched and learned. If I remember correctly, current Enduro software works with systems as far back as PowerXpress 4.0 which are Muxless with Seamless Switching.

I've been thinking about this & now I'm not sure I'm right. My notebook has "dynamic switching graphics" or dual-graphics (crossfire) but I don't think it uses "enduro." Or does it? Can anyone elaborate.

It's just a name. Do you have switching options in the CCC?

Ok, let me clarify a bit.

When I right-click my mouse on the desktop, the options for Graphics Properties & Configure Switchable Graphics are available. From within the AMD VISION Engine Control Center I am able to enable/disable AMD Radeon Dual Graphics. My switchable graphics UI does not look like the Enduro UI I saw on Anandtech (with all those newly added power profile features). What's funny is I actually get better reported battery life (according to Windows & Lenovo battery meters) with having the igpu+dgpu ON, versus only using the igpu (selected from within the BIOS).

I'm currently using official 12.9 beta, 12.8 chipset drivers, and 12.9 CAP 1.

    EDIT:
AMD’s Enduro 5.5 Public Beta Driver Available
According to Lenovo, my laptop is equipped PX4.0.
