Well there is no sense in copying anything more than the output buffer segment, so I think I didn't choose my words well (well if I was good with words I would be a lawyer and not a mathematician :p)

Which is the point. What part of this equation are you missing?
You challenged the statement saying it was already there, but according to their own specs it's not, which then you then question the veracity of.
You show me another laptop with XGP that has the dedicated memory currently available or currently on the Mfr's site.

I agree, but that's what I said from the beginning, the official description provided are the ones saying copy the frame buffer, not just the output portion of the frame buffer, which could be huge considering the number of times opportunities to 'write to frame buffer' and the new (DX10) Stream Out feature which writes to the FrameBuffer you have a much more complex buffer than before.

And even with the Output buffer you'd want to be sure that it separates the front and back buffers, only sending the back buffer information, which is all you would need to send to the IGP.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is part of the equation they're working on for the final launch.

I apologize I suppose, I wasn't saying you are wrong in any way, I'm just saying that other manufacturers, like HP, ASUS or Toshiba may choose to put the optional dedicated VRAM with the integrated HD3200, like Gagabyte did on the desktop mobo based on the HD3200 780G chipset.

Fujitsu may even have it, but didn't realize it when they made the webpage. I have seen a lot of misprints before.

I'm hoping they do very much so, because it would be really awesome and I intend to buy a Puma laptop in a couple weeks. I'm hoping ASUS releases them soon, as they normally have the performance laptops.

I was just thinking, maybe I can get a Puma laptop with an HD3870 discrete and then crossfire it with an XGP, then maybe it does display on the laptop, but I lost my ultra mobile notebook by then :)

More importantly, where are the PUMA laptops with the actual port?

If I were on the market for a laptop right now, I'd be giving AMD serious thought due to the low prices and sexy IGP.

Why is it the only OEM selling PUMA, HP? Who else is doing it? Seriously, the price is right, what's the deal? Is this all AMD needing to step up marketing?
